Liv Morgan had a lighthearted moment during her appearance at Fanatics Fest, held this weekend at the Javits Center in New York City.
During an interview with Sports Illustrated, the current Women’s World Champion was asked which WWE wrestler could be compared to Lionel Messi. Morgan didn’t take long to answer — she pointed to herself.
The champion finished her answer by saying the following:
“The greatest Women’s World Champion of all time.”
In recent weeks, Morgan has repeatedly called herself the greatest Women’s World Champion of all time.
Morgan is in her third reign as Women’s World Champion, which began on April 18, 2026, when she defeated Stephanie Vaquer on Night One of WrestleMania 42.
She has a huge challenge ahead of her at SummerSlam, though. IYO SKY defeated Morgan in the Queen of the Ring final at Night of Champions and chose to face her once more, this time for the Women’s World Championship.
Messi was also at Fanatics Fest, alongside names like Tom Brady, Novak Djokovic and Kevin Durant, in his last public appearance before the World Cup final between Argentina and Spain.
