Mike Bailey is chasing the AEW International Championship again. He opened the main card at Redemption on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec. The Canadian beat Jack Perry, The Beast Mortos, Komander, Nick Wayne and El Clon in a six-way ladder match to earn the win.
The match delivered several surprising spots. Komander walked across the top rope before leaping onto Wayne and putting him through a table. Perry hit Wayne with a Canadian Destroyer from the top of a ladder, sending both men crashing through another table.
In the end, though, Bailey put Mortos on a ladder propped in the corner and connected with the Ultima Weapon. With every other opponent down, “Speedball” climbed up and pulled down the contract to seal the win.
The victory ended a difficult stretch for Bailey in high-profile matches. In recent months, he had lost to Darby Allin for the AEW World Championship, to Kevin Knight for the TNT Championship, and to Mark Davis for the AEW National Championship.
Bailey had previously challenged for the International Championship at Dynasty 2025, in a Triple Threat Match against Kenny Omega and Ricochet, though Omega held on to the title.
