New details about the death of PAC, whose real name was Benjamin Satterley, emerged on Monday, less than 24 hours after AEW confirmed he had died at age 40.
According to the California Post, PAC was found unconscious inside a vehicle in the parking lot of a CAVA restaurant in Des Plaines, Illinois. The report adds that emergency services were dispatched at around 5 p.m. ET (4 p.m. CT, local time), after customers noticed the situation and called 911.
The emergency dispatch audio recorded the words:
“This is going to be a slumper in a car. We cannot confirm breathing yet. At this point, we’re still on the phone getting further.”
Some people at the restaurant went looking for medical equipment to try to help PAC before paramedics arrived. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed that he was pronounced dead at 5:08 p.m. ET. A cause of death remains pending additional testing following an initial autopsy.

A Fightful update, citing the Daily Herald, adds that PAC was alone in a rental car when he was found. The report also states that no signs of trauma or any indication of a crime were found, and that the death is not currently being treated as suspicious.
PAC was in Illinois for AEW All Out, which took place the night before at the NOW Arena. He lost to Andrade El Ídolo in the opening match of the pay-per-view, a title match for the AEW National Championship. PAC also appeared later during the main event between Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay.
PAC began his career in 2004 and signed with AEW in 2019. Before that, he had a long run with WWE under the ring names Neville and Adrian Neville.
