WWE has announced the lineup for the next episode of NXT, set for Tuesday, Sept. 29.
Grayson Waller will put the NXT Championship on the line against Mason Rook. Rook earned the title shot last week by defeating Tony D’Angelo and Saquon Shugars in a Triple Threat Match.
Waller has held the title since NXT Heatwave on Aug. 30, when he beat D’Angelo, Zilla Fatu and Cruz Montana in a Fatal 4-Way Match.
ZARIA will defend the NXT Women’s North American Championship against Thea Hail. On this week’s NXT, Hail pinned ZARIA in a tag team match that also featured Kelani Jordan and La Catalina. That pin is what earned Hail the title shot.
The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will also continue with two first-round matches. Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer and Axiom) will face DarkState’s Cutler James and Osiris Griffin. BirthRight will take on Mini Vikingo and Chazz “Starboy” Hall.
