Oba Femi is the 2026 WWE King of the Ring. In the opening match of Night of Champions, held Saturday at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, The Ruler defeated Jey Uso to earn a world title match at SummerSlam.

The match was physical from the opening minutes. Jey tried to use his speed and quick bursts of offense to throw Femi off balance, connecting with dives, superkicks, and a spear, but he could not keep the Nigerian powerhouse down.

The closing stretch became the key point of the match. Jey hit three Uso Splashes at different points, but Femi survived all of them, shutting down “Main Event” Jey’s attempt to bring the win back to The Bloodline.

In the end, Femi weathered Jey’s best offensive run and regained control. He then hit the Fall From Grace and scored the pinfall to win the tournament.

With the victory, Oba picks up his first major accomplishment since being called up to WWE’s main roster. Before the final, he defeated Penta, Solo Sikoa, and Carmelo Hayes in a Fatal 4-Way Match, then got past Dominik Mysterio in the semifinal.

The result also prevents Roman Reigns from using Jey to put The Bloodline directly into a world title match at SummerSlam. Femi now has a clear path to challenge for a world championship at the biggest event of the summer.
