The King of the Ring final between Oba Femi and Jey Uso remains surrounded by backstage mystery in WWE, with Night of Champions just one day away. The event takes place this Saturday, June 27, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, creative plans for the match are being kept quiet, unlike other bouts on the card that reportedly have clearer internal favorites.
The winner of the final will earn a world title opportunity at SummerSlam, making the outcome even more important for WWE’s direction in the coming weeks.
Femi reached the final after winning a Fatal 4-Way Match against Penta, Solo Sikoa, and Carmelo Hayes before defeating Dominik Mysterio in the semifinal. Jey, meanwhile, advanced past LA Knight, Royce Keys, and Finn Bálor in the opening round before defeating Je’Von Evans.
The plans for the Oba Femi vs. Jey Uso King of the Ring finals match are being kept quiet unlike the other matches on the Night of Champions card.

The uncertainty stands out because other Night of Champions matches appear to have more defined creative directions. Cody Rhodes is reportedly favored to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship against Gunther and Sami Zayn, while Trick Williams is expected to retain the United States Championship against Ricky Saints.
IYO SKY is also listed as the favorite to defeat Liv Morgan in the Queen of the Ring final. Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker inside a Steel Cage, however, reportedly still has multiple finishes being discussed.
That makes Oba Femi vs. Jey Uso one of the biggest unknowns of the event. If Femi wins, WWE could fully cement his rise after his victory over Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. If Jey wins, The Bloodline could get another path back into the world title picture at SummerSlam.
