Stephanie Vaquer was one of the champions who lost her title at WrestleMania 42. La Primera was defeated by Liv Morgan in one of the event’s marquee matches, dropping the WWE Women’s World Championship.

Vaquer’s reign ended after nearly seven months. The Chilean star captured the title in September 2025 at Wrestlepalooza, the event that marked the beginning of WWE’s partnership with ESPN.

Last night on Monday Night RAW, Vaquer was brutally attacked backstage by Morgan, Roxanne Perez, and Raquel Rodriguez. Later in the broadcast, Michael Cole revealed that the wrestler would be out of action indefinitely due to the attack.

According to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, while she wasn’t injured at the exact moment she was attacked by The Judgment Day, Vaquer is indeed dealing with a second-degree acromioclavicular sprain.

While it’s unknown when the Chilean suffered the injury, speculation is that her title loss to Morgan at the Showcase of the Immortals may have happened for this reason. Obviously, there’s also the possibility that WWE’s plans always called for Morgan to win.

It’s important to note that their match was the shortest of the event, lasting just six minutes. With Vaquer’s now-revealed injury and Morgan, who had just been cleared from WWE’s concussion protocol the week of the event, it all adds up.
