Stephanie Vaquer is expected to be out of action for the foreseeable future.

According to WrestleVotes on Fightful Select, there is currently no clear timetable for Vaquer’s WWE return. However, there is said to be optimism that she could be back in time for WWE SummerSlam.

Vaquer was written off television on this week’s episode of Raw after being attacked backstage by Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. Perez pushed an equipment box into Vaquer’s shoulder, with Liv Morgan later telling her that the Women’s World Championship was now hers.

Michael Cole then stated on commentary that Vaquer had suffered a second degree AC sprain and would be out “for a bit.”

Bryan Alvarez later reported that the injury is legitimate and is likely the same sprain WWE referenced on Raw. It is still unclear when the injury was first sustained. Vaquer last wrestled at WrestleMania 42, where she lost the Women’s World Championship to Morgan. The match was kept short, with reports noting that both wrestlers were banged up going into the bout.

SummerSlam will take place across two nights on August 1 and 2 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

As of now, there is no confirmation that Vaquer will be cleared for the show, only that there is optimism about that possible timeline.
