
Rey Mysterio, still active in WWE at 51, wants to bring back his original entrance theme before he hangs up the mask.
In an interview with SunSport published September 11, the WWE Hall of Famer said the old theme, remembered for its “Who’s that jumping out the sky?” opening, was tied to a special period of his career. He admitted he’d already been thinking about bringing it back before retiring.
Mysterio also said he would like to bring back his famous pop-up entrance. The entrance already returned on night two of WrestleMania 42, on April 19, when he competed in the Intercontinental Championship ladder match.

None of that means retirement is set. In an interview published on August 12, Mysterio said he doesn’t feel ready to stop and wants to listen to his body before making that decision.
In the ring, Mysterio is still active. At AAA Triplemanía 34 on September 11 in Las Vegas, he lost to Omos, a result that lifted Omos’ suspension and secured his reinstatement in AAA.
