Add as a preferred source on Google The Mysterio family could soon have another member step into a WWE ring. Aalyah Mysterio, the daughter of Rey Mysterio and younger sister of Dominik Mysterio, is expected to begin training regularly at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
PWInsider reports that Aalyah is expected to train at WWE’s developmental facility much more frequently after showing interest in pursuing a pro wrestling career.
In 2025, after earning her degree in human biology from the University of California San Diego, Aalyah went through tryouts at the Performance Center.
That experience led to a more demanding two-week tryout this February. Aalyah trained Monday through Friday during that stint. Rey Mysterio said she enjoyed the routine and will now focus on training.
In addition to the work she has done at WWE’s facility, Aalyah attended Lodestone, a women’s wrestling camp organized by Bayley during WrestleMania 42 week in Las Vegas. Sherilyn Guerrero, the daughter of Eddie Guerrero, and Jazzy Yang, the daughter of Jimmy Wang Yang, also attended.
Aalyah is already familiar to WWE viewers. In 2020, she appeared regularly during the feud involving Rey Mysterio, Dominik Mysterio, Seth Rollins and Murphy. She also became involved in a romantic storyline with Murphy, who was then aligned with Rollins.
