Ric Flair issued a health update on Saturday after a fall in Tampa, Florida, sent him to the hospital.

Flair shared a photo of himself with a bandage over his right eye and said he is focused on his recovery.

In a post on X, Flair thanked the doctors and staff at Tampa General Hospital, who cared for him until 4:30 a.m. He also thanked everyone who sent messages and said he plans to get back to each of them individually as he regains his strength.

“Thank You All For The Messages And Prayers!” Flair said. “I Will Get Back To You Each Individually As I Get Stronger. Thank You To All The Tampa General Hospital Staff And Doctors That Put Up With Me Until 4:30am. I Appreciate You All And Thank You For Everything You Did For Me! I Am Focused On My Healing And Recovery Right Now. I Will Be Okay!”

Flair then said he no longer has control of his Facebook page, and he condemned the content posted there while he was hospitalized.

“And Just So You Know For Those Who Were Asking And Wondering, I Don’t Own My Own Facebook Page Anymore,” Flair said. “I Apologize For The Reckless Posting Behavior On My Facebook When I Was In The Hospital. It Was Completely Inappropriate!”

Flair was hospitalized on Friday after he fell on the street and suffered facial injuries. The fall came a few hours after he announced that he would have to cancel an appearance in Seattle because of a blood clot in his leg.

Charlotte Flair had already reassured fans about her father’s condition. On X, she said her father joked with his doctor and blamed the fall on an old match against Ultimate Warrior.

“Not my dad telling the doctor he fell bc of warrior dropping him on his head,” Charlotte said. She added in a postscript that her father is going to be OK.

Flair’s comment about Facebook ties back to an earlier legal dispute. In September, he sued the agency FAM Networks for at least $10 million in damages and the return of control of his page.

In the suit, Flair alleged that the agency later transferred the page to its own control, which kept his team from continuing to manage it.
