Roman Reigns Could Break Major Record at WWE Crown Jewel

Roman Reigns is set to face Sami Zayn at WWE Crown Jewel on November 7 for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship, as announced on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, held Monday in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Far beyond the importance of a new title match, especially one for the prestigious Crown Jewel Championship, which is contested once a year, Reigns could break an incredible record in WWE.

So far, Reigns and Randy Orton each have no fewer than 82 wins at WWE PLEs. In fact, the OTC had 81 until last weekend’s Money in the Bank, but he tied the Apex Predator by defeating LA Knight and retaining the World Heavyweight Championship.

Orton, on the other hand, has not wrestled at a premium live event since WrestleMania 42, when he was defeated by Cody Rhodes in a match for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Although he defeated Rhodes himself at Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6 in Atlanta, that event is considered only a special and does not count as a PLE.

If he defeats Zayn and, as a result, surpasses Orton’s mark, Reigns is poised to make 2026 one of the biggest years of his WWE career.

Far beyond winning two titles of great importance, the World Heavyweight Championship and the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship, Reigns has been competing much more than in 2024 and 2025, which were years with longer sabbaticals.

TKO’s likely demand for Reigns to work a busier schedule in 2026 has, at least so far, been producing very consistent numbers for the OTC.
