Roman Reigns has been pulled from advertising for several June episodes of Monday Night RAW because he is not scheduled for Night of Champions, WWE’s next major event in Saudi Arabia. The show will take place on June 27 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.

The current World Heavyweight Champion had initially been advertised for the June 1 RAW in Turin, June 8 in Paris, June 15 in Baltimore, and June 22 in London. With WWE not planning to use him on the Saudi premium live event, the company also removed him from the television dates that would have built toward the show.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Reigns’ inclusion in that advertising was more of a scheduling error than a major creative shift. WWE often promotes names in advance before every plan is locked in, especially for cards that have not been fully finalized.

The situation is also reportedly unrelated to rumors of a pay cut. Reigns continues to be viewed internally as one of the company’s most protected names, with no indication of contractual issues involving him, WWE, or TKO.

Before then, Reigns will remain in the spotlight throughout May. He will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu at Backlash and is also advertised for Clash In Italy on May 31 in Turin.
