Ronda Rousey does not plan to return to pro wrestling on a full-time basis, even with the door open for a possible AEW comeback.
The former WWE Women’s Champion made a surprise appearance at AEW Revolution in March in Los Angeles, helping Marina Shafir after her match against Toni Storm. Since then, many fans have speculated about whether the former UFC fighter could take on a larger role.
During the AEW Double or Nothing media call, Khan said Rousey would be welcome back whenever she wants, noting that he has already worked with her in both ROH and AEW.
However, during a recent appearance on Up & Adams, Rousey made it clear that she does not see wrestling as part of her future.
“No, that life of being on the road is probably more time consuming than doing training camp at home,” Rousey said. “I had a great time, but it just happened to be in town and my best friend was there, you know what I mean?”

Rousey left WWE in August 2023. After that, she still worked a few matches alongside Shafir outside the company, including a bout in Ring of Honor.
