Darby Allin once again made it clear that his approach inside AEW rings is not changing anytime soon.

The current AEW World Champion will put the title on the line against MJF this Sunday, May 24, at Double or Nothing in a Title vs. Hair Match at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens.

In a recent interview with The Sportster, Allin was asked whether he has ever done anything in the ring that he later thought maybe he should not have done.

“No. I haven’t reached that point yet. And at that rate, the adrenaline is so high. It’s going so high that you’re willing.

But also, I’m very at peace with going to the hospital. So it’s nothing I’m avoiding. When you live in that state, it keeps you very, very ready on edge at all times. You’re ready for whatever.”

The comments line up with Allin’s current run as champion. On the final Dynamite/Collision before the pay-per-view, Allin still defended the AEW World Championship against “Speedball” Mike Bailey, even with MJF already confirmed as his challenger for Sunday.

Double or Nothing is also being positioned as one of AEW’s biggest recent events, with more than 14,000 tickets distributed and the company’s second-largest U.S. gate.
