Royce Keys has been gaining plenty of ground on Monday Night RAW, and his work is reportedly going over well backstage in WWE, too.
According to WRKD Wrestling, in an update published on September 10, Keys has received strong praise for fitting into a main event role right away. WWE is also said to be putting together new plans to keep pushing 946, the stable he leads.
False Finish brought an even bigger update on September 11. According to a source cited by the outlet, several top names within WWE see Keys as someone who could become a world champion down the line.
Keys returned to the Monday Night RAW lineup on August 24, showing up alongside Bronco Nima and Lucien Price. The trio attacked The Usos, LA Knight, and Solo Sikoa during the show’s main event.
Royce Keys has been given massive praise behind the scenes in WWE for instantly slotting into a major main event role effortlessly.

On September 4, the group officially started going by the name 946. WWE had filed for the trademark on August 28, just days after the stable came together.
The momentum continued on the September 7 episode of RAW. The Usos and Jacob Fatu called 946 out to brawl in the ring, but Keys, Nima, and Price responded by setting the brothers’ car on fire.
Keys hasn’t slowed down since returning in August, and he keeps getting pulled further into the show’s top storylines. Rumors suggest WWE plans to keep 946 front and center in the coming weeks.
