Roman Reigns hit the 147-day mark as World Heavyweight Champion on Sunday, holding the longest reign among WWE‘s current male main roster champions.
Reigns won the title on Night 2 of WrestleMania 42, on April 19, defeating CM Punk in the main event. He’s been at the top of Monday Night RAW ever since.
During that stretch, Reigns has retained the World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu at Backlash, against Fatu again in a Tribal Combat match at Clash in Italy, and against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam.
Coincidentally, Liv Morgan also hit the 147-day mark. Her Women’s World Championship reign, which also began at WrestleMania 42, came to an end last night when Stephanie Vaquer won the title in Santiago, Chile.
Roman Reigns is currently the longest-reigning champion on WWE television.

Reigns isn’t alone among main roster champions, though. Rhea Ripley also won the WWE Women’s Championship on April 19 and is still recognized as champion, even though Chelsea Green is currently carrying the interim title due to Ripley’s injury.
Within the current World Heavyweight Championship lineage, Reigns holds the fourth-longest reign. He still trails CM Punk at 169 days, Gunther at 258, and Seth Rollins, who holds the record at 316.
His next defense is set for Monday, September 14, on Monday Night RAW from Mexico City. Reigns will put the title on the line against Penta, who earned the shot by winning a tournament that ended with a win over Rey Fénix.
