Seth Rollins will get a massive opportunity at WWE SummerSlam, where he’s set to challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Rollins could reach a significant milestone in the process. The “Visionary” currently holds six world titles in WWE: two WWE Championships, two Universal Championships, and two World Heavyweight Championships.
Reigns, on the other hand, has seven world titles to his name, with four WWE Championships, two Universal Championships, and his current World Heavyweight Championship, which he captured at WrestleMania 42.
That means if Rollins defeats Reigns at SummerSlam, he’ll pick up his seventh world title and match the count held by his old Shield partner.
Seth Rollins is now just ONE World Championship away from equaling Roman Reigns' 7 world titles. 👀

Despite trailing by one title, many believe Seth's overall career has been one of the greatest WWE has ever seen.

The stakes carry even more weight considering Rollins has never lost this title inside the ring. He was forced to vacate it last year due to injury, so his current pursuit is being framed as an attempt to reclaim something he still considers his.
Reigns and Rollins haven’t faced off one-on-one since the 2022 Royal Rumble, when Rollins won by disqualification but Reigns held onto the Universal Championship.
In their head-to-head history, Rollins also has the edge, with five wins, four losses, and one draw in singles competition. He also beat Reigns and CM Punk in the WrestleMania 41 Triple Threat Match and took Paul Heyman away from the Tribal Chief’s side.
With that in mind, SummerSlam could mark not just another chapter in the rivalry between two of this generation’s biggest names, but also a possible shift in the list of the modern WWE era’s greatest world champions.
