Seth Rollins already has a new goal in WWE, but it is not entirely up to him. After defeating Bron Breakker in a Steel Cage Match at Night of Champions, the “Visionary” made it clear that he still intends to reclaim the World Heavyweight Championship.
The problem right now is Oba Femi. The Ruler defeated Jey Uso at the same event in Riyadh, won the 2026 King of the Ring, and earned a match for a world title of his choosing at SummerSlam.
During the Night of Champions post-show, Rollins said Femi has become a major obstacle between himself and Roman Reigns, the current World Heavyweight Champion.
“That’s an interesting question because when I came back I said there was two things on my mind. One was ending The Vision, now I don’t know if I’ve ended The Vision but I’ve certainly made it more difficult for them moving forward.
“The second thing is getting back the World Heavyweight Championship, the title that I had to vacate, the title that I did not lose. And the current holder of that championship is none other than Roman Reigns, however, there is a giant wedge in-between myself and Roman Reigns right now, and that man’s name is Oba Femi, because Oba’s got himself a title shot for the title of his choosing at SummerSlam.
“So I suppose the truth is we’re playing a bit of a waiting game. We gotta see what Oba decides before I make my next move.”
Femi had already mentioned Reigns after WrestleMania 42, shortly after defeating Brock Lesnar, which could indicate that The Ruler will choose The OTC as his opponent at SummerSlam.
