WWE held tryouts in Bogotá, Colombia on Thursday as part of its current South America tour. The tryouts took place ahead of the September 10 show at Movistar Arena.
Names at the tryout include Roma, Crush, JaviStar, Dylan Fabrizio, Allan Sales, Ángel del Toro and MKO.
Chileans Cipriano Riquelme and Ignacia Cifuentes also took part. Riquelme received a direct invite from WWE, while Cifuentes had confirmed her spot back in June.
The Wrestling Observer had previously reported that WWE planned South America tryouts in September to scout new talent for its developmental system.
The tryouts coincide with the South America Live Tour. WWE ran shows in Quito, Ecuador and Bogotá before heading to Buenos Aires, Argentina and Santiago, Chile, where the tour wraps up on Saturday, September 12.
According to WWE’s official recruitment site, those selected from the tryouts could begin training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
