Jey Uso Fires Back at Fans During WWE’s South American Tour

Jey Uso addressed the fan backlash during WWE‘s South American tour, where he’s been hit with repeated “You can’t wrestle” chants.

It started on September 9 at a live event in Quito, Ecuador. Jey teamed with Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu against Seth Rollins, LA Knight and Solo Sikoa in the main event. Fans directed insults at Jey during the match and broke into loud “You can’t wrestle” chants. Rollins, Knight and Sikoa won the match.

The same thing happened the following night, September 10, at Movistar Arena in Bogotá, Colombia. Jey was targeted by fans again with the same “You can’t wrestle” chants before his team lost to Rollins, Knight and Sikoa for the second straight night.

On Saturday, September 12, Jey responded to the South American fans in a post on his Instagram Story, writing:

“YO SOUTH AMERICA DISRESPECT ME UNO MAS AGIN,” and warning that he’d go home.

The tour also stopped in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on September 11 and wraps up Saturday in Santiago, Chile. Jey is among the names advertised for the events alongside Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu.

It remains to be seen how the Chilean crowd reacts after Jey’s warning and what happened in Ecuador and Colombia.
