Sol Ruca has been gaining ground on WWE’s main roster, but admitted she still needs to do a better job handling comparisons to more experienced names in the women’s division.
During a recent interview with Ringer Wrestling, Ruca said she is still very new to pro wrestling, noting that she has only been in the business for four years while already sharing the ring with names like Becky Lynch, Bayley and Liv Morgan.
“I am still so new to this, I’ve only been doing this four years. And I’m getting in the ring with Becky’s and Bayley’s and Liv’s, who have been doing this for so long and are so so good.
“And I do sometimes compare myself to them, but I need to not compare myself to them right now. I need to not compare myself to them at all, but knowing their process and how they’ve came to be, it just makes me excited to see where I’m going to be when I’m at that level or that far into my career.”
Ruca is set to face Becky Lynch at this Saturday’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, with the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line.
Ruca already had a major experience against Bayley at SNME in December 2025, when WWE was still presenting her as one of NXT’s top prospects.
