Add as a preferred source on Google Blake Monroe finally made her WWE SmackDown debut during Tuesday’s tapings on June 23 at The O2 Arena in London, England.
The episode, which will air next Friday, June 26, featured Giulia vs. Kiana James as one of its main attractions. Monroe appeared right after Giulia’s win, attacking the “Beautiful Madness.”
In fan-shot video posted to social media, Monroe came out after the match and hit her new finisher on Giulia, making it clear that her first main roster rivalry will be against the former Women’s United States Champion.
Her debut had been built up for several weeks. On the June 19 episode of SmackDown, WWE aired a Monroe vignette aimed directly at Giulia.
Monroe arrives on SmackDown after a standout run in NXT, where she captured the NXT Women’s North American Championship.
With the attack, Giulia appears to have closed the book on Kiana James and now has a new target on the blue brand.
