[Spoilers] AEW’s Major Plans for Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed at All In London Revealed

Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed, formerly known as Xavier Woods in WWE, appear to be on the verge of making their AEW debuts this Sunday at All In: London inside Wembley Stadium.

WrestleVotes Radio had previously reported that internal AEW sources expected both Kofi and Creed to show up at the pay-per-view, though no definitive confirmation had surfaced at that point.

A new report from Fightful Select has now laid out the creative plans for the duo. Barring any last-minute changes, Kofi and Creed are headed to AEW and expected to team with Swerve Strickland to challenge for the AEW World Trios Championship at All In.

The trio is expected to fill the “Wild Card” spot in the Trios Roulette Royale. The match will see champions “Hangman” Adam Page, Bandido, and Brody King defend against The Demand, The Conglomeration, The Dogs, Death Riders, Bang Bang Gang, and the mystery team.

Swerve has been teasing the possibility on AEW programming and social media. On Saturday, he posted just the word “New,” adding more fuel to the speculation surrounding the former New Day members.

According to the same report, Kofi and Creed are expected to debut under a new tag team name, leaving the New Day identity behind for good.

Both men officially departed WWE in May after spending over a decade with the company. Since their exit, multiple names within AEW had been pushing internally for Tony Khan to bring the duo in.
