Tommaso Ciampa and Chris Jericho will have total freedom to settle their rivalry at AEW Redemption.

During this Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision, Ciampa defeated Myron Reed in a singles match. Right after the win, the “Psycho Killer” grabbed a microphone, walked over to Paul Wight at the commentary table and demanded that his upcoming match with Jericho be turned into a No Holds Barred Match.

Jericho did not show up to respond to the challenge. Still, later in the broadcast, the commentary team confirmed that AEW had granted Ciampa’s request and made the stipulation official for the pay-per-view.

This will be the second match between the two in a matter of weeks. Ciampa defeated Jericho on the July 8 episode of AEW Dynamite: Beach Break, throwing sand in his eyes before hitting a running knee for the pin. Ciampa followed up after the match by attacking Jericho with a chair.

This past Wednesday, Jericho announced that he would bring back the Painmaker for their next match.

AEW Redemption will take place on July 26 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec. It will be the first edition of the new pay-per-view.
