Tessa Blanchard’s MLW Future in Doubt After Signing Announcement Is Removed

MLW has removed Tessa Blanchard’s signing announcement and roster page from its website, raising questions about her future with the promotion just days after announcing her arrival.

The company announced Blanchard as a new addition on September 1 and confirmed her debut for Fightland on September 12 at Festival Hall in Charleston, South Carolina.

The removals followed a statement from CMLL, Blanchard’s primary promotion, clarifying that the agreement with MLW covers only her participation in the September 12 tapings. CMLL said no additional dates or title matches had been agreed to beyond that appearance.

That clarification contrasts with Blanchard’s recent comments on TMZ’s Inside The Ring. During the interview, she said she would remain with CMLL and described MLW as a second home. She also discussed plans to help develop MLW’s women’s division.

Blanchard’s September 12 appearance at Fightland has not been formally ruled out, as neither company has announced its cancellation. Her status with MLW beyond that date remains unclear.
