The Rock has finally given a strong indication about his WWE future, confirming his intention to return to WrestleMania.
Dwayne Johnson made a surprise appearance on Thursday’s edition of The Morning Shift, popping up during the hosts’ reaction to “Your Dad,” a track from his Moana project Voices Across The Ocean.
During the conversation, The Rock promised that Brook Ruscoe, Jordan Vaha’akolo, and Marc Peard will be his guests when he makes his next WrestleMania appearance.
The statement confirms the “Final Boss” plans to return to WWE’s biggest event, though he did not reveal when that would happen.
That detail is particularly interesting because of WrestleMania 43. WWE has officially confirmed that the 2027 edition will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, making it the first WrestleMania ever held outside North America.
That said, The Rock’s comments should not be taken as confirmation that he will be part of WrestleMania 43, much less that he would compete in a match.
As we previously reported here at Wrestling Noticias, a match at the event is considered highly unlikely at this point due to the filming schedule for Fast Forever, which is expected to keep Johnson busy for several months.
The Rock has not appeared on WWE television since Elimination Chamber 2025, where he was directly involved in John Cena’s historic heel turn against Cody Rhodes.
