The Undertaker is trying to turn AAA into something completely different from anything WWE currently offers.

During a recent appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, the Deadman explained that his vision is not to model AAA after Raw, SmackDown or NXT.

“My vision is, I want us to put out a product that is completely different from NXT, it’s completely different from SmackDown or Raw. I want it to be different from every other wrestling.

“That starts, to me, with storytelling, athleticism, and aggression. It’s a process, and everybody’s starting to buy into it and realizing that what we’re doing down there has got the attention of the wrestling community.”

Undertaker also revealed that he and Jeremy Borash were responsible for developing the original idea for the feud between El Grande Americano and Original El Grande Americano. The program culminated in a Mask vs. Mask Match and became one of the best examples of AAA’s new creative direction.

Chad Gable also recently credited Undertaker, saying the advice to treat everything in the ring as real changed the way he works, even after 13 years in the business.
