WWE announced a new title match for Friday’s SmackDown. Rey Fenix will put the AAA Cruiserweight Championship on the line against Ricky Saints at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California.
The match will be a rematch of the match held on Sept. 11 in Mexico City, when Fenix defeated Saints and retained the AAA Cruiserweight Championship. However, Saints managed to get even on the Oct. 2 SmackDown, when, alongside The War Raiders, he defeated Fenix and Fraxiom in a Six-Man Tag Team Match, scoring the pinfall over Fenix himself.
Last week, Saints challenged Fenix again, demanding another title shot.
In addition, both also faced each other on Thursday night during a non-televised WWE live event in Winnipeg, Canada. Fenix won again and retained the AAA Cruiserweight Championship.
In addition to the AAA title match, SmackDown will feature a confrontation between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton, in addition to matches between Nikki Bella and Paige, and R-Truth against Damian Priest.
