R-Truth suffered an injury during the match against Damian Priest on Friday’s Friday Night SmackDown, held in Sacramento, California. The referee had to stop the match, and False Finish reported that the stoppage was legitimate, not part of WWE’s script.
The incident happened after Truth hit a missile dropkick on Priest and showed difficulty continuing. Referee Darryl Sharma noticed the problem, moved Priest away and called for the bell, ending the match with no winner.
Even after the stoppage, Priest grabbed a chair and tried to continue the attack on Truth. However, Nathan Frazer and Axiom appeared to prevent another assault.

As Wrestling Noticias previously reported, Priest broke off his partnership with Truth in September, after both were defeated by the War Raiders in a match for the AAA World Tag Team Championship.
The injury interrupted the first singles match between the former partners since the start of the feud, leaving both without a win on Friday.
