A title match and three other matches are set for Tuesdayâs WWE NXT.
On this weekâs special Wednesday edition of NXT, which was moved from Tuesday due to the U.S. elections, Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno won the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. They defeated Hank Walker and Tank Ledger, both former NXT Tag Team Champions, after hitting stereo Cross Rhodes and a High-Low on Ledger for the pin.
Cody Rhodes, who was on commentary for the final, presented the trophy to Dar and Moreno. He then announced that next week, they will face Vanity Project (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes, with Jackson Drake and Myka Lockwood) for the NXT Tag Team Championship.
The two teams met on October 27 in the semifinals of the tournament, where Dar hit a spinning backfist on Smokes for the pin. That means Baylor and Smokes will defend the titles against a team that beat them just 14 days before.
The champions are heading into the match after another loss. On the same show, Drake, Baylor, and Smokes lost to Chad Gable, Rey Fenix, and Dragon Lee in a six-man tag team match.
Baylor and Smokes won the titles for the second time at NXT Heatwave on August 30. On Tuesday, their second reign with the titles will be at 72 days, less than half of the 161 days they held them the first time.
Elsewhere on the menâs side, EK Prosper will face Kam Hendrix. Hendrix cost Prosper the NXT North American Championship on October 27 by knocking him off the top rope in his match against Drake.
In womenâs action, Wren Sinclair will face Izzi Dame, while Lizzy Rain will get her rematch against Chantel Monroe. Sinclair lost to Kelani Jordan at Halloween Havoc with the NXT Womenâs Championship on the line.
