Jacob Fatu has become a concern within WWE just two days before Clash in Italy, where he is scheduled to challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship.
According to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, Fatu was seen limping after facing Solo Sikoa in a Street Fight at a WWE live event in Liverpool, England. The “Samoan Werewolf” won the match, but raised questions about his physical condition afterward. It is still unclear whether he was simply selling the effects of the match or if he actually suffered an injury.
Fan reports from the event also indicated that Fatu received medical attention after heading backstage. One account claimed he landed awkwardly during the match and appeared to be in significant pain. Still, there has been no official confirmation of an injury as of now.

For now, WWE still has Fatu advertised as planned for Clash in Italy. His match against Reigns will be a Tribal Combat Match, with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line, this Sunday, May 31, at the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy. In the United States, the event will stream at 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT on the ESPN App.
The match is a rematch from WWE Backlash, where Reigns retained the title against Fatu. After that bout, Fatu attacked the champion, The Usos, and WWE officials, leading to the challenge for another match under an even more violent stipulation.

Cody Rhodes previously pointed to Fatu as the favorite to beat Reigns, believing the Tribal Combat Match favors Fatu’s more aggressive style.
