The graphic aired ahead of the event, where “The Ring General” will challenge Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Zayn was the first, ending Gunther’s historic Intercontinental Championship reign at WrestleMania XL on April 6, 2024, after hitting a Brainbuster and a Helluva Kick to score the pinfall victory.
Months later, on November 2, Cody Rhodes did the same at Crown Jewel 2024, pinning Gunther’s shoulders to the mat to become the first Men’s Crown Jewel Champion.

At WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, Jey Uso captured the World Heavyweight Championship by making Gunther tap out, delivering one of the biggest wins of his singles career.
The most recent name on the list is CM Punk, who defeated Gunther at SummerSlam 2025 with two GTSs to win the World Heavyweight Championship. Moments later, Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and took the title from Punk on the same night.
