AEW is discussing the possibility of running a special event during the weekend of WrestleMania 43, which will take place in Saudi Arabia in 2027.

Bryce Remsburg, who works as a referee and manages AEW’s travel department, revealed that internal conversations are underway.

In an interview on The Certified Mark Show, Remsburg was asked whether AEW could take advantage of WrestleMania being held outside the United States to put on its own programming that week.

“Yeah, I think I can say that conversations are being had around what we might do that weekend,” Remsburg said. “How about that?”

“And there are some factors out of our control that would contribute to our decisions,” Remsburg said. “So we’ll kind of see what happens, and then we’ll see what happens.”

Wrestling Noticias reported in September that AEW could run a major event over WrestleMania weekend, following comments from Tony Khan on the subject. Remsburg has now confirmed that conversations are taking place inside the company.

One factor in the planning is when WWE sets the dates for WrestleMania 43. On October 1, WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that WWE didn’t plan to reveal the dates early, which made planning difficult for other promotions in the United States.

It was later reported that WWE is working internally with April 10 and 11, 2027, as the dates for WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh.

AEW’s own schedule is another factor. The company has confirmed Dynasty for February 7, 2027, in Liverpool, England. All three previous Dynasty pay-per-views took place in April.

WWE has also announced that it will still hold events in the United States during WrestleMania 43 weekend. Stand & Deliver and Eternal Glory will take place at the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York.
