WWE Worlds Collide will be filmed with a commentary team, but it’s still unclear whether the show will air live or on delay.
Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer shared the update Thursday on X.
Alvarez wrote:
“Still not sure whether World’s Collide will air live or even on delay, but it is being filmed with commentary.”
On Wednesday, Fightful Select reported that there were no internal broadcast plans listed for Worlds Collide at that time. The outlet noted the situation could still change before the event and that it had reached out to WWE for comment.
We also reached out to WWE but didn’t hear back.
As of now, WWE hasn’t officially announced a broadcast platform. The Worlds Collide page on the company’s website only lists the show for Saturday, September 26, at the Allstate Arena in the Chicago area.
That’s a change from last year’s event on September 12, 2025, in Las Vegas, which aired live on WWE’s official YouTube channel with English and Spanish commentary teams.
For this year’s show, the Allstate Arena is advertising CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, and El Grande Americano against Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, and Omos, along with Penta and Rey Fenix against Los Perros del Mal, Las Tóxicas against Fatal Influence, and Dragon Lee against Jack Cartwheel. La Catalina will also defend the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship against Roxanne Perez.
Worlds Collide takes place the same night as AEW All Out, which is being held at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, also in the Chicago area.
