Netflix edited part of Roman Reigns’ entrance in the replay of this week’s WWE RAW from Arena CDMX in Mexico City, ahead of his World Heavyweight Championship match against Penta.
During the live broadcast, Reigns was walking past fans when a man behind the barricade flipped off the champion. The moment aired normally on the live feed.
In the replay on Netflix, though, the camera cuts to an overhead shot seconds before the fan would appear. The angle holds for more than 30 seconds, keeping him completely out of frame.
Netflix hasn’t publicly addressed the change, just as it hasn’t addressed the numerous other edits it’s made to the show in recent months.
On the August 31 episode, the blood from Royce Keys, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price’s attack on The Usos was censored. Triple H later posted the unedited version of the segment on social media.
As for the match itself, Reigns hit Penta with a Spear to pick up the win and retain the World Heavyweight Championship.
