Vince McMahon remains completely removed from WWE, but Jeff Jarrett does not believe the company’s former owner will simply disappear from the entertainment world.

On a recent edition of My World with Jeff Jarrett, the WWE Hall of Famer discussed McMahon’s future and dismissed the idea of seeing him get involved with companies like AEW or TNA.

According to Jarrett, McMahon has never been someone used to taking orders, which would make any kind of partnership with an already established company unlikely.

The former TNA owner said that if McMahon does return to some kind of public project, it would likely happen independently, built around one major, high-risk standalone event.

“Vince is a promoter at heart. He’s not going to work for anybody. If he does something, it’s going to come out like a cannon shot.”

The comment stands out because McMahon has held no role in WWE or TKO since January 2024, following the lawsuit filed by Janel Grant. McMahon denies the allegations made against him.

His business situation has also changed significantly since the WWE-UFC merger. In recent years, McMahon has sold large blocks of TKO stock, significantly reducing his stake in the company he helped form.

Even so, Jarrett believes McMahon’s core has always been tied to creating major spectacles, not necessarily controlling a weekly wrestling company.

It remains to be seen whether McMahon will actually attempt to return to entertainment at some point, or whether his legal issues and definitive separation from WWE will prevent any new public move.
