Randy Orton will reportedly open tonight’s WWE SmackDown in Mexico City.
According to ViperReports, a reliable source that has broken several stories, Orton will come to the ring early in the show for a segment. No details on what the segment will involve have come out so far.
Tonight marks the first SmackDown in Mexico City in 15 years, with WWE returning for a run of shows that also includes next Monday’s RAW.
Orton heads into the show days after defeating Cody Rhodes this past Sunday. The finish came after Rhodes teased a Punt Kick but backed off at the last moment, allowing Orton to hit a low blow followed by an RKO to win the match.
Two days later, Rhodes beat Orton in a non-televised Street Fight during WWE’s tour of Mexico.
Rhodes is also confirmed for tonight’s SmackDown. Whether the two will share the same segment isn’t known yet.
