WWE has announced another match for the next edition of Friday Night SmackDown. This time, current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Paige and Brie Bella will be in action against Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid.
The match was made official after Fatal Influence’s recent attacks on the champions over the past several weeks. The group, made up of Jacy Jayne, Henley, and Reid, has been one of the main focuses of SmackDown’s women’s division since arriving on the main roster.
On the June 5 edition of the show, Henley and Reid once again attacked Paige and Brie Bella backstage, making it clear that their goal is to earn a shot at the tag team titles.

The rivalry began shortly after WrestleMania 42, when Fatal Influence interrupted one of the champions’ title defenses and attacked both Paige and Brie, as well as Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. Since then, the group has continued to receive a prominent role on WWE’s weekly programming.
Paige and Brie Bella won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 42, defeating then-champions Lash Legend and Nia Jax in a Fatal 4-Way Match.
