WWE has added a major title match to the July 27 episode of RAW. Raquel Rodriguez will challenge Sol Ruca for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

The announcement came during a Byron Saxton interview with Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, representing the Judgment Day. The new opportunity arrives just three weeks after the two first met for the title.

On the July 6 episode of RAW, Rodriguez had Liv Morgan and Perez working outside the ring, but IYO SKY showed up and cleared out the interference. Ruca capitalized on the distraction, hit the Sol Snatcher, and retained the title after about ten minutes.

Rodriguez had earned that opportunity by defeating Maxxine Dupri in a No. 1 contender’s match on the June 29 show. Even after the loss, she stayed directly involved with the champion.

Last week, Ruca tried to help IYO SKY fend off an attack from Morgan, Perez and Rodriguez, but the two were ultimately overwhelmed by the Judgment Day.

Ruca has held the Women’s Intercontinental Championship since May 31, when she defeated Becky Lynch at Clash in Italy. Since then, she has also put the title on the line against Lyra Valkyria and Rodriguez herself.

The rematch will take place on the final RAW before SummerSlam, set for August 1 and 2 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
