Sol Ruca will get her first major title opportunity since officially being called up to Monday Night RAW.
On this week’s show in Greensboro, North Carolina, Ruca once again came face-to-face with Becky Lynch, the current Women’s Intercontinental Champion, and the confrontation ended with a match between the two being confirmed for Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The rivalry began on the May 4 episode of RAW, when Adam Pearce signed Ruca to the red brand. Becky interrupted the segment, accidentally struck Pearce, and then took a Sol Snatcher from the newest member of the roster.

Despite making a strong first impression, Ruca is still looking for her first major win since arriving on RAW. Last week, she was defeated by IYO SKY in another match that made clear WWE’s interest in testing her against major names in the women’s division.
Saturday Night’s Main Event takes place next Saturday, May 23, at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana. As of now, the card already features Penta defending the Intercontinental Championship against Ethan Page, as well as The Vision putting the World Tag Team Championship on the line against the Street Profits.
Now, Ruca will try to surprise Becky and win her first title on the main roster, while “The Man” will look to use her experience to slow the rise of one of WWE’s top recent prospects.
