Add as a preferred source on Google WWE has announced three matches for the July 28 episode of NXT, including a match for the NXT North American Championship.
Myles Borne will put the title on the line against Kam Hendrix. The match was made official by Robert Stone during Tuesday’s show.
The match also comes with a stipulation. If Borne retains the title, he and Tavion Heights will receive a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championship against Swipe Right, the team of Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes, the following week.
Hendrix had already attacked Borne during one of his first NXT appearances, on April 28. On May 19, he and Mason Rook defeated Borne and then-NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo in a tag team match.
Shiloh Hill will once again face Tristan Angels. The two met at the Great American Bash on June 28, when Hill picked up the win. The rivalry continued in the weeks that followed, with Angels destroying Hill’s fake tooth and the winner then seeking a replacement from Danhausen.
In the women’s division, Izzi Dame will face Lizzy Rain. The two competed in a Fatal 4-Way Match for the NXT Women’s North American Championship on the July 14 episode, but both left the match after starting a brawl outside the arena.
On Tuesday night, Rain once again attacked Dame during the match between Shawn Spears and Niko Vance, paving the way for WWE to finally book the match.
