WWE announced new additions to the card for the July 20 episode of Raw, which will take place at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.
In an online video released this Sunday, Raw general manager Adam Pearce confirmed that Seth Rollins will open the show. Jacob Fatu will also be in action, taking on LA Knight.
Rollins heads into Raw fresh off a confrontation with Roman Reigns this past Saturday. At Saturday Night’s Main Event, the Visionary attacked Reigns with help from Tyrese Haliburton, but Jalen Brunson stopped him before he could hit a Curb Stomp onto a chair, allowing Reigns to close out the segment on top.
The match between Fatu and Knight, meanwhile, continues the ongoing issues involving The Bloodline. On July 6, Fatu stopped Knight from attacking Jimmy Uso backstage. A week later, Knight teamed with Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys to run Fatu and The Usos out of the ring.
All six are already confirmed for a tag team match at SummerSlam, with Knight, Solo and Keys taking on Jacob, Jimmy and Jey Uso. That means Monday’s match will serve as a preview of that showdown at the next premium live event.
Chad Gable and Danhausen will also make appearances. Gable earned a shot at Penta’s Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam after winning last week’s gauntlet match on Raw, while Danhausen is coming off a win over JD McDonagh in a No Disqualification match, with major help from Karl-Anthony Towns.
