WWE has confirmed the first matches for its European Summer Tour, which will begin next Thursday, May 28, in Liverpool, England.
The show will take place at the M&S Bank Arena and will feature Cody Rhodes defending the WWE Championship against GUNTHER. Jacob Fatu will also face Solo Sikoa in a Street Fight, while PENTA will put the Intercontinental Championship on the line against Dominik Mysterio.
WWE is also advertising Oba Femi, Rhea Ripley, Trick Williams, Charlotte Flair, Tiffany Stratton and Danhausen for the Liverpool event.
The biggest name advertised, however, is Drew McIntyre, who is set for the June 2 show in Strasbourg, France, at Zénith de Strasbourg. At that event, he will face Jacob Fatu in a Street Fight.
Also in Strasbourg, Cody Rhodes and GUNTHER are once again advertised for a WWE Championship match, while PENTA and Dominik Mysterio are also listed for another Intercontinental Championship bout. Seth Rollins and The Vision are also advertised for the event.
The tour is part of WWE’s European schedule, which includes Clash in Italy, the company’s first Premium Live Event in Italy, on Sunday, May 31, at Inalpi Arena in Turin.
WWE will also hold SmackDown in Barcelona on May 29 and Monday Night Raw in Turin on June 1 before continuing on to other cities, including Lisbon, Madrid, Bologna, Rome, Florence and Paris.
