Add as a preferred source on Google WWE appears to have already locked in its plans for Sol Ruca on the main roster. After a hectic debut last week in a match against Liv Morgan, the former NXT Women’s North American Champion will now represent a brand.
On the latest episode of Monday Night RAW in Laredo, Texas, a promotional video for Ruca aired, indicating that on next week’s show she will officially sign her contract with the red brand.
Last week, Ruca was about to defeat Morgan in a non-title match for the Women’s World Championship, but ended up losing after a timely interference from Zaria.
A day later on WWE NXT, Ruca and Zaria faced off for the final time to close out their rivalry, with Zaria picking up the victory. The match stood out because of a brutal bump Ruca took when Zaria drove her through a table on the outside.
With that, just as happened with Joe Hendry and Keanu Carver, Ruca was defeated by Zaria in a final chapter to wrap up her run on WWE’s developmental brand. Last week, Hendry was brutally attacked by Carver in his final Tuesday night appearance.
It is still unknown whether Ruca will be placed into a major rivalry right away. However, it would be no surprise if she enters the hunt for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship, a title currently held by Becky Lynch.
