Brock Lesnar officially announced his retirement from the ring after SummerSlam, but WWE apparently isn’t ready to close the book on him.
According to Fightful Select, people in position to know believe The Beast Incarnate will be part of WrestleMania 43, set for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2027. However, no new match has been set as of now.
If Lesnar truly doesn’t want to return to the ring, another option that’s been discussed is having him headline the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2027.
That idea gained even more traction this week. Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, denied reports that the ceremony would be held in the United States and indicated that the Hall of Fame will remain in Riyadh during WrestleMania 43 week.

5:34 PM · Aug 6, 2026Lesnar wrestled his final match on Aug. 1, when he lost to Oba Femi inside Hell in a Cell. The match capped off a trilogy: Femi won at WrestleMania 42, Lesnar got his win back at Clash in Italy, and The Ruler came out on top again in Minnesota.
On Aug. 4, Lesnar appeared on The Pat McAfee Show and said he was retired. WWE also moved him back to the Alumni section and aired a career retrospective on Raw.
Worth noting: this wouldn’t be the first time Lesnar has reversed a retirement. In 2022, he revealed he’d considered his career over as far back as 2020.
For now, his presence at WrestleMania 43 remains only an internal plan, whether for one final match or a possible Hall of Fame induction.
