Liv Morgan may have run into an unexpected problem before the Queen of the Ring final at WWE Night of Champions, held Saturday at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Right after Oba Femi defeated Jey Uso in the King of the Ring final, Danhausen appeared on the stage for another one of his comedy segments. Morgan interrupted him and said he owed a lot of money to Judgment Day. In response, Danhausen said she was cursed.
Liv did not take the jab well, slapping Danhausen across the face before heading to the ring to face IYO SKY in the women’s tournament final.
"I'll see you at SummerSlam" 😱

The moment picked up traction on social media because, minutes later, Morgan was defeated by IYO SKY. The Japanese star won after hitting a Spanish Fly and a Moonsault, capturing the Queen of the Ring crown and earning a world title match at SummerSlam.
The curious part is that Liv had previously gone to Danhausen herself, trying to convince him to curse Oba Femi before the men’s final. Danhausen turned her down in a segment that aired on the June 15 episode of RAW. In the end, the “curse” wound up coming back on Morgan.
With the win, IYO SKY is right back in the Women’s World Championship picture. Morgan, meanwhile, missed her chance to win the crown and will now have to defend her title against SKY at SummerSlam.
