A significant segment involving Tiffany Stratton was pulled from this week’s Friday Night SmackDown, held Friday night in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

According to Fightful Select, which reported the news ahead of the show, Cathy Kelley was set to interview the current WWE Women’s United States Champion. Chelsea Green, Blake Monroe, and The Irresistible Forces — the tag team of Nia Jax and Lash Legend — were also scheduled to be part of the segment.

“The Irresistible Forces, Blake Monroe and Chelsea Green will feature in Tiffany Stratton’s segment.”

Despite being listed on the internal show plans, the segment never aired. Tiffany, Chelsea, Monroe, Nia, and Lash were completely absent from the broadcast, while the night’s women’s division highlights were limited to the Jade Cargill–Alexa Bliss match and a Fatal Influence promo.

It’s still unclear whether the change came down to time constraints or a last-minute creative call. That said, SmackDown also had an abrupt ending of its own.

In the final minutes, Gunther attacked Nick Aldis with multiple sleeper holds after being booked in a Tag Team Match against CM Punk and Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Rhodes’ music hit to start the save, but the broadcast went off the air before he could even reach the ring.

As of now, WWE hasn’t announced whether the segment will be rescheduled for the next episode.
