WWE has announced another change for Money in the Bank 2026, which will now take place on Saturday, October 10, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
This is the second date change for the premium live event. The show was originally scheduled for August 29. WWE later moved the event to September 6, also in New Orleans. Now, the company has pushed Money in the Bank to October while keeping it in the same arena.
The change was confirmed in conjunction with the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and Legends Global. The event will still feature the traditional Money in the Bank Ladder Matches, where the winners earn a briefcase granting them a world title opportunity at any point within one year.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, July 10, at 10 a.m. ET. An exclusive presale will begin one day earlier, on July 9.
New Orleans received Money in the Bank 2026 after losing WrestleMania 42, which ended up taking place in Las Vegas again.
No matches have been officially announced for the event so far. It remains to be seen whether the new date will change WWE’s creative plans for the briefcases, especially with Money in the Bank now being placed much closer to Survivor Series.
