Finn Bálor is not looking to follow the path of other pro-wrestling names who have crossed over into MMA or boxing.
The subject came up during a special TKO Q&A promoting Zuffa Boxing 07, an event set to feature appearances from Conor Benn, Lone’er Kavanagh, and Bálor himself in Bournemouth, England. Even while appearing at a boxing-related event, the former WWE Universal Champion made it clear he has no interest in trying his luck outside wrestling.
“I’d rather stay exactly in my lane.”
The comment stands out because Bálor had recently talked about the possibility of facing Conor McGregor, but with one clear condition: it would have to happen inside a wrestling ring, not an MMA cage. At the time, he said he would accept a match against the former UFC champion, but admitted he would rather stand alongside McGregor than face him in a real fight.

Zuffa Boxing 07 will take place this Saturday, June 6, at the Bournemouth International Centre. The event will be headlined by Chris Billam-Smith vs. Ryan Rozicki in a cruiserweight bout, with the show airing in the United States on Paramount+.
Bálor, meanwhile, remains fully focused on his WWE career. He was recently moved to SmackDown and is listed for the King of the Ring tournament, where he will face Jey Uso, LA Knight, and Royce Keys in a first-round match.
So, despite WWE, UFC, and Zuffa Boxing becoming increasingly connected under the TKO structure, Bálor does not appear interested in turning that corporate synergy into an actual career change.
